R.I.P. Tony Scott

This guy made one of my favorite movies of all-time, True Romance. Even though it had Tarantino’s style all over the script, it was one of the few instances in which Scott proved he was capable of more than just making the ‘pretty blockbuster’, an appeal he’d been helmed with all of his career. He made many other great movies such Crimson Tide, Enemy of the State, Top Gun, Days of Thunder, The Hunger, Beverly Hills Cop II, Man on Fire and most recently Unstoppable. A truly great filmmaker, and a gigantic influence on modern action films.
